Point series is mainly intended to display
discrete sets of self-dependent values. However, it may
also be used as an alternative to line or bar series.

In XY-scatter mode, Point series may be used for
presentation of data that is irregularly spread throughout 2D
space. With an appropriate wall background,
such as a map, Point series may be used as
highlights of selected coordinate points from the
background image.

Nevron’s GDI+ graphics engine provides the 2D
scene with state-of-the-art image quality and legibility,
and also conforms to Windows standards for 2D graphics
rendering. Image effects such as shadow, glow,
bevel/emboss and lighting make it possible to apply
complex visual styles to any 2D scene.

The XYZ-scatter mode of the Point chart gives the
capability to display the distribution of
data throughout 3D space. Multiseries XYZ-scatter
Point charts are suitable for representing the
relative 3D distribution of several different
data sets.
