Nevron Open Vision ( NOV ) now works in your web browser via Blazor WebAssembly . NOV users can now create cross - platform C # application from single codebase that work on Windows , macOS and the web . To browse the online examples of NOV , open the following link : NOV WebAssembly Examples

Hi Jason , We are having good progress on porting the NOV component suite to Blazor WebAssembly . Here ' s a screenshot of a NOV Diagram example running in Google Chrome : 27% of original size (was 1920x696) - Click to enlarge We are working actively on the Blazor version of NOV and things are starting to look really good . We plan to release on official version by the end of the year .

Is there any kind of progress on this you can share? Is it still being worked on? Are you still feeling like it's a possibility for later this year?
Thanks.

Hi Jason , Our focus is on client - side Blazor ( aka Blazor WebAssembly ). We do not plan to support server - side Blazor in the near future . NOV for WebAssembly will be a graphics intensive application and server - side Blazor is too slow for that because data travels from the server to the client and vice versa resulting in a lot of lag .

Hi , We are having very good progress on NOV for Blazor WebAssembly ( i . e . the client - side Blazor ). We recently managed to show the NOV examples in the browser , which was a great milestone . There ' s a lot more work and optimizations that need to be done , but we are working hard on NOV for Blazor WebAssembly and will do our best to release an official version later this year .

Hi Jason , We are very interested in Blazor and will have NOV working on this platform by the end of this year . NOV was started with portability in mind and has very minimal dependencies on the OS / Browser and we have already started initial research on Blazor . The lack of Visual Studio integrated debugging was one of the things we wanted to see implemented by MS before we could commit to this platform and we ' re very glad this has been finally implemented . In addition , we wanted the platform to mature a bit . That said we hope NOV to be the first suite of controls with advanced features for Blazor . Let us know if you have any questions ...

With the upcoming full release of client-side Blazor in May, and given it has some similarities to Silverlight, are there plans to make the NOV suit usable in Blazor?
Thanks in advance.
