Hi Kevin,

Yes indeed this is a lot of work and a very cool feature as well - unfortunately it's not in the plans...

Hi

The basic requirement we have is to reproduce the chart in Excel as an Excel chart (not as an image which I am currently doing), with the data series underneath. It is the translation of the Nevron chart to an Excel chart which is a big job. Our old in-house charting component did the translation but I know it was an "interetsing" job keeping compatibility with various versions of Excel.

Thnaks

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

Currently there are no plans to implement export to Excel - the reasons are:

1. If the export supports only data export e.g. being able to export the chart data to excel sheets this is accomplished by open source software, which can easily generate that and this is outside of the scope of the control.

2. It will be diffult to export the chart state to Excel chart state, because the charts there are not compatible with our object model, so it will be only an approximation.

Can you elaborate on what features you would like in an Excel export feature...

Are there any plans to add an Export to Excel option for Nevron charts? This is one of the most frequent requests I get from our users. I do appreciate, though, that it is potentially a lot of work, particularly trying to cater for all versions of Excel.

Thanks

Kevin
