I do not know its name but the gauge has numbers for each major tick in a circle just inside its bevel to show possible values.  I would like to adjust the font or bold these numbers.  Is there a way to do that?

Hello Mark,
You can control the axis scale text style from the: Gauge -> Axes -> Scale -> Text Label Style
You can also take a look at the following Help Documentation topic: Editors > Appearance FX Editors > Text Style FX Editor
