  We are having an issue when a user with Read Only permissions opens a page with gauges, the gauges do not appear. The user has only read permissions to that specific page and no permissions to the rest of the site.  When an admin user accesses the page, the gauges do appear.My team is running SharePoint 2013 SP1 on  Windows Server 2012 R2.  The gauge version  is 14.12.11.12.   Any help with this issue is appreciated.

Thanks!

Andrew

Hi Andrew,
The user also needs to have read permissions on the data that the Gauge web part is connecting to.
Can you check this and let us know if you meet any problems.

Best Regards,

The user has access to the data.  We can see the title of the web part, but the gauge is not rendering.

It is difficult to tell what goes wrong without seeing the Nevron Log file. To enable error logging you need to modify the WebPartsConfig file to record errors and statuses. More information about the config file can be found in the following topic in the documentation:
Getting Started > The WebParts Config File
Any errors that are not reported to the user will appear in the log file.The config file needs to look like this:

<Config>
    <Log LogErrors="yes" LogStatus="yes"/>
</Config>
