Nevron Vision for .NET comes with 3 license keys: Developer, Desktop and Web Server. Here's some brief information for each one of them:
- Developer Key
The Developer License Key that comes along with your purchase of Nevron Vision for .NET is the license key that unlocks your development machine, removes the watermark and allows debugging. This license key is generated using your machine ID, which you need to provide after you receive the confirmation email for your purchase. See how you can obtain your machine id here.
- Desktop Key
The Desktop Key serves for redistribution of your compiled application using Nevron Vision for .NET (removing the watermark for your end users). The key is provided as soon as your order is processed and should be applied programmatically, as demonstrated here.
- Web Server
The Web Server Key is used when your application will be deployed on such. With your purchase of 1 License of Nevron Vision for .NET you are also provided one license for Web Server with no restrictions on the number of sited. If you need to license another Web Server machine, you will need an additional license. The Web Server license is also based on the machine id of the server. To obtain your server machine ID copy/paste the Nevron License Key Manager application from your development machine on the server and run it. It will provide you with the server machine ID.

If you have a large project with many developers, you only need to license the ones that will be actively developing with Nevron's Software. All the rest of the developers can install Nevron's software and will be seeing it with a watermark while the evaluation lasts. After the evaluation expires there will be a blank spot where Nevron's controls are located in your application and only the development seats with activated licenses will be able to see the controls and debug. |
|
Nevron Vision for .NET licenses are perpetual, which means that the license key you are provided with your purchase will forever unlock the specific version from your order. If you would like to have the ability to upgrade to newer versions you can either add subscription to your initial purchase or contact sales@nevron.com requesting an upgrade quotation. |
|
As mentioned in the above question, when you purchase Nevron Vision for .NET you are entitled to forever work with the edition you have purchased. The Subscription gives you access to all minor and major version releases within one year after purchase, support and the right to continue your subscription after. |
|
No. Subscription renewal is only available to customers who have an active subscription with Nevron. If you would like to upgrade your software to a newer version but don't have a subscription, please contact sales@nevron.com to request a quotation. |
|
The update can cost anything between 50% and 100% of the list price of the product. You need to contact sales@nevron.com and request a quotation. |
