All Nevron SharePoint Licenses are per WFE (Web Front End) Servers and you need to obtain a valid Server License for each production WFE server in your SharePoint farm. There is no restriction on the number of web applications, the number of site collections, the number of developers/designers working with the web part designer and no restriction on the number of viewers. We do not charge for test and development servers.

How long does it take to process your order?

Orders are typically processed within 24 hours. On Weekends and public holidays orders are processed on the next business day. If you believe your order is taking longer than it should, please contact Nevron at sales@nevron.com

What is a Server License?

With your purchase of Nevron Vision for SharePoint, you will recieve one license key:

Server License - required for production report server deployment.
Open the Chart or Gauge designer and navigate to the Licensing page. The page displays the license information for each server on the farm.

How long is my license valid for?

Nevron SQL Server Reporting Services report items licenses are perpetual, which means that the license key you are provided with your purchase will forever unlock the specific version from your order. If you would like to have the ability to upgrade to newer versions you can either add subscription to your initial purchase or contact sales@nevron.com requesting an upgrade quotation.

What is the subscription and why do I need it?

As mentioned in the above question, when you purchase Nevron Data Visualization for SSRS you are entitled to forever work with the edition you have purchased. The Subscription gives you access to all minor and major version releases within one year after purchase, support and the right to continue your subscription after it expires.

Can I purchase Subscription if I want to upgrade to a newer version?

No. Subscription renewal is only available to customers who have an active subscription with Nevron. If you would like to upgrade your software to a newer version but don't have a subscription, please contact sales@nevron.com to request a quotation.

How much does the upgrade cost?

The upgrade can cost anything between 50% and 100% of the list price of the product. You need to contact sales@nevron.com and request a quotation.

Technical Support

Each Nevron customer receives free technical support with the purchase. Technical Support includes the following services:

Reporting and fixing bugs
Clarifying component functionalities
Providing pointers regarding our products
Code examples

Custom Development

Custom Development is a separate service, and it is not part of the Nevron products license.

How to transfer a license key?

The license can be transferred to a different device up to 6-years after the purchase. To transfer a license purchased more than 6 years ago, please contact customerservice@nevron.com .

Users can directly manage licenses for version 2019.1 and higher on the Nevron website. More information about revoking and generating licenses is available in the How to generate a license key? and How to revoke a license key? sections below.

How to generate a license key?

Log in on the Nevron website by using your credentials.
Go to the License Keys page, which allows you to manage all your license keys.
The Design and Server license requires you to provide a machine ID in the respective field. You must obtain the machine ID from the License Key Manager application or run some examples shipped with the controls.
Click on the Generate button. The license key must appear in the Key field below the machine ID.

How to revoke a license key?

Run the License Key Manager application shipped with the controls.
Select the license key that you want to revoke.
Click the Revoke button. A new dialog with the Revoke Key Information will appear.
Copy the Revoke Key.
Login to your account on the Nevron website and go to License Keys Page (My Account/ License Keys).
Click on the Revoke button, which is next to the license key.
Place the Revoke Key from License Key Manager in the opened dialog.
Click the Revoke button.
You can now generate a new license key using the procedure outlined in "How to generate a license key" .
