Hello Nevron,

I have a NFloatBarSeries with ShadowStyle settings (please see code following), but I don't see the shadow.  Can you tell me what I may be doing wrong?  For reference, I changed the NFloatBarSeries to a NLineSeries and then a NStockSeries, and had no problem.

Thanks, Brian Warren

// Setup Float Bar series
_NewFloatBarSeries = (NFloatBarSeries)chart.Series.Add(SeriesType.FloatBar);
_NewFloatBarSeries .DataLabelStyle.Visible = false;
_NewFloatBarSeries .WidthPercent = 100;
_NewFloatBarSeries .FillStyle = new NColorFillStyle(Color.FromArgb(255, 255, 255, 255));
_NewFloatBarSeries .BorderStyle = new NStrokeStyle(Color.DarkBlue);
_NewFloatBarSeries .Name = "Float Bar";

_NewFloatBarSeries .ShadowStyle.Type = ShadowType.GaussianBlur;
_NewFloatBarSeries .ShadowStyle.Offset = new NPointL(1, 1);
_NewFloatBarSeries .ShadowStyle.FadeLength = new NLength(2);
_NewFloatBarSeries .ShadowStyle.Color = Color.FromArgb(128, 255, 255, 255);

Hi Brian,

It looks like it is up to the shadow settings: the offset is just one pixel and the shadow color is semi-transparent white. I just tried with some other settings and the shadow could be seen clearly:

_NewFloatBarSeries.ShadowStyle.Type = ShadowType.GaussianBlur;
_NewFloatBarSeries.ShadowStyle.Offset = new NPointL(4, 4);
_NewFloatBarSeries.ShadowStyle.FadeLength = new NLength(2);
_NewFloatBarSeries.ShadowStyle.Color = Color.FromArgb(128, 0, 0, 0);

Please let us know if this helps.

Best Regards,
