Hi,

I am trying to implement Ajax Drill Down example in my application. When user selects a bar from a Bar Chart it re-draws related Pie Chart.

I am implementing the application same way mentioned in the demo. But somehow "NAjaxMouseClickCallbackTool"event for BarChart is not able to invoke "OnAsyncCustomCommand" of PieChart. I have also madesure that, chart IDs are correctly defined in the supported javascript.

Any help with the issue is highly appreciated!

Thanks.

P.S. Please review attached simple web application that implements "Ajax Drill Down".

Hi Bhumi,

You use an incorrect id - should be "MainContent_nChartControl1", anyway we would recommend you to use the ThinWeb controls as they provide a more robust AJAX interactivity framework.

Thank you for your reply!

I corrected the id in javascript but still its not working.

You suggested to use latest version of the Nevron Chart Tool. Is it the old Nevron version that doesn't support AJAX interactivity?

Thanks,
Bhumi

Hi Bhumi,

Just check out the correct id - you can do that by simply clicking inspect element on the chart which will look like "ChartID_Div". Alternatively you can use ThinWeb controls introduced in 2012 which provides a much better and flexible AJAX framework.

Thanks for the reply!

Correcting the id doesn't solved the problem.

Thanks.
