Hi,

Within SSRS 2005 I am using a Nevron bar chart.  The data being used to populate the report has some long labels on the X-Axis.  I would like to wrap and centre the text to improve the appearance of the report.  Within the Chart properites tab I have tried to use the Wrap functionality (Axes\Primary X\Advanced\Range Label Overlap Mode (check Wrap) without any success.

Is there a simple way to do this?

I have attached a screen capture of the behaviour I am seeing.

Also, could you please tell me how to remove the orange boxes around the data points?

Regards,

Z.

Hi Zeljka,

You can turn off the borders around the bars from the Values Grouping Editor\Appearance(tab)\Border Style button.

Regarding the wrapping - you need to switch the labels in range mode, before the range overlapping settings take any effect. This can be done from the Axis\PrimaryX\Scale(tab)\Categorical (tab)\First Level Label Fit Mode combo - it is "Level" by default and you must switch that to "Range".

Hope this helps - let us know if you meet any problems.

Best Regards,
