Hi!
I changed to the new Version 2014.1. Then I realized I cannot load chart binary settings from the old version and I should save the chart settings as XML (see this post)
So I changed back to Version 2012.1 and in Designer mode tried to "Save to file..." chose xml as file format. But the generated xml-file is always empty!
Please advise how to proceed! I made a lot of settings in the designer and it would be very time consuming if they were lost!
Thanks!

I also tried to save the XMl-File during runtime with the following code:
chartControl.Serializer.SaveControlStateToFile();
If I choose XML-Format the file is empty.
If I choose XML-Custom format, the file is saved correctly. But when Itry to import the custom format file in the designer nothing happens...

Hello Alexander,

Please send the full version number of the 2012.1 chart to our support e-mail. Also, if possible, please attach the custom XML that is generated by  2012.1 and cannot be loaded in 2014.1.

Best Regards,
Nevron Support Team

Hi Alexander,

Just a short note that a SP fixing the serialization issue will be published today or tomorrow...
