Hi,
We are presently using the ‘NLayeredGraphLayout’ for bringing out the graph structure to represent our data into the diagram. Our main requirement is to add a node for ‘Assistant’ like in the image attached. However, right now, if we add a new node from President, it comes along with ‘VP-A’,’ VP-B’ & ‘VP-C’. Can you help us with a strategy to add like in the image attached?

Also, if ‘NLayeredGraphLayout’ is not suitable for this purpose, can you help with any other way which helps us plot the node ‘Assistant’ while we are using some layout because we don’t want to go ahead and plot each node manually?

Thanks,https://www.nevron.com/forum/uploads/images/2845a63a-ca03-4c63-b141-287c.png

Hi,

There isn't an automatic layout that can produce the requested diagram exactly. You can use the Layered Graph Layout to layout President and the VP shapes and then add the Assistant shape manually at the desired location.
